Well like always I love to plan ahead and we thought that James would be able to come home for New Years..like he has for the past 3 years. Unfortunantely...the Navy sucks and they said no. They will only allow a certain amount of people to leave Japan for the holidays. Of course someone else got the spot and the guy has only been there a few months!!! Ugh!
But instead I get to spend 4 weeks in Japan. I am kinda excited about that but....it still sucks. He isn't off of work until after the first two weeks! I also get to spend the first week that I'm there with my inlaws!
Oh well...everything happens for a reason and I'll just have to look at the situation with a glass half full attitude!
