Imagine a room that you didn't know what it was really made for. It's wasted space because they could have an actual laundry room in our house instead of a laundry closet in the kitchen. This room was off white and only had boxes of stuff that had gotten pushed to the side. We cleaned everything out and picked a color. I started painting while J was called into work. He did areas that I couldn't reach (above the cabinet) and the touch ups. Then we built the shelf.
On Sunday J got called into work again so I went and picked out knobs and hooks and started painting things white. We finished the shelf and hung it. We had the couch/fold on thing in my office and never use it. J thought I would study on it, but the only time I did, I fell asleep. Not good for that. So now it sits in here!
Today, I'm going to get curtains to hang on the french doors not above. In the corner where the old curtains are balled up on the floor will be a cabinet with a curtain for the litter box.
J wants to make the top of the white cabinet into a gun cabinet. I knew it wouldn't happen any time soon, so I put nice stuff on it. My wedding flowers, some of my photography, and a picture of us!
I think it turned out great!
