Working On My Office

So last night, I started.  We got the shelves that I wanted for over the desk.  And come to think of it, I could actually get a few more.  Maybe later.  I'll be satisfied with what I have.  I am organizing school work stuff.  I have this semesters books and binders on one shelf, so I can easily get to them.  But I have folders of old stuff that I just finished going through and keeping what I might need or what could help friends that might take those classes.

I got the coolest desk lamp.  It looks like a lantern.  J hates it but it's my office.

We ran to Target and thank God we did.  I got the last leather parsons chair for the office.  J said he will put it together but I am picking up a few more things in here and I'm going to put it together.  This chair is too hard (it's an old dining room chair). 

Now I have a place to come and do my homework, my sewing, my crafts, and photography stuff.  I'm very excited.  I can lock myself in here without disturbing James and he doesn't have to disturb me.

There are a few more odds and ends that I will need.  My material for my curtains wasn't enough.  I'll just turn that material into something else and get some more.  I need some more decorative boxes that I can put stuff in.  And I really need some book ends.  I'm going to look hard for those.
