Finals Week...

Why is "dead week" the week before finals?  No tests are supposed to take place, school should be dead. Yea right!  Maybe dead week because students feel dead.  Maybe this week should be considered dead week.

Border line grades, papers and books everywhere, lack of sleep, and looking like a mess....that's what this week has consisted of.

J doesn't understand that all day (since I'm off work) I'm sitting here studying.  I do take breaks to do laundry or dishes but other than that...the house is clean and the little mess can wait till tomorrow after about 11am!

The other good thing about finals week is that my birthday is always around the end.  Thursday night we're going to go out with some friends to enjoy some dancing and fun.  Friday I get to get my hair cut!!  Saturday, I don't know what's going on yet.  And Sunday is Mother's Day and my BIRTHDAY!!!  Mom and I are spending the day together (well most of it) and I'm guessing J and I will spend the afternoon together.  He didn't seem to care and I wanted to spend the day with mom.  It's special since I was born on Mother's Day and my bday is on it again.  Plus the last time the 2 fell on the same day I was in high school (i think) or just plain wanted to hang out with J instead.
