Well it's not the vacation I would like to take (*HINT HINT Husband....ALASKAN CRUISE?!?!?) but I love spending the 4th of July with my family. It's a tradition and every year our family reunion is on the Saturday of the 4th weekend!
I look forward to chatting with my family that I don't see as much and I love to see how all the children are growing. Plus, its always a great opportunity for photos! I'm excited because I have my camera and tripod (plus all 5 lens and remote). We will have a family group picture with everyone included! But that's tomorrow....
TODAY....(Pics to come)
My aunt and I got up and ran 2 miles (actually she went for an extra lap so she ran 4). For some reason I just couldn't catch my breath. But my new shoes...AWESOME (post about them soon!)
Then we loaded up and headed to my other aunt's house at the creek. It's really part of the bay but it's a cutoff that they call a creek). We enjoyed a great lunch of hamburgers and ribs then went on countless rides on the boat and waverunner/jetski.
I applied sunscreen (SPF 50) probably a minimum of 5 times and my shoulders are still red. Thank God it's not my legs. That really sucks!
Well that's an update for now. It's 1130pm and it's time for me to go to bed.
