HE is emailing ME

The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him.

Wow!  I'm so excited that this was emailed to me this morning.  I had it set up for KLove to email me daily with a great Bible verse.  Lately, I think God is directly e-mailing me.  Is that possible?  God@Heaven.com?!?  I'm not sure but it seems like He is talking to me.  BUT...this is a mass email sent to millions of people daily, how could HE be talking to ME?

Rainbows...another way God talks to us.  He always reminds us that there won't be another flood.  But He talks to us daily by showing us how great He is because we see the creation every day.  I truly am amazed at how the beautiful things around me look daily.  He is a great God!

So...the verse says to search for Him.  My mom {who is a wonderful wonderful blessing to me} always has told me to search for Him.  But in the searching, she reminds me to "SEEK THE FACE BEFORE THE HAND!"

As a kid I didn't always get the meaning of this.  Now I understand that it means to truly search for Jesus Christ and not what He can do for me.  I want to seek His face but do find myself sometimes in search for things that might be considered seeking the hand.  I am really trying to seek His face and His kingdom!!!
