Wow...what a day..

Hall bathroom...

• New shower curtain
• Lined drawers and cabinet
• New shelf (put together but not hung yet)
• Painted the old spot from towel holder (previous owners painted around it and left a BIG RED dot)
• Washed new towels and set up bathroom
• Donated old towels

Still to do...

• Hang shelf
• New pictures
• Organize counter space
• ENJOY!!!

Then...the bad part.
I was looking for something, the shed was locked, I called J and he told me to stand on a bucket to reach something.  I stood on a bucket (that was filled with oil) and fell in the bucket.  UGH!  Then while I was rinsing my leg off, the hose busted.

It was rough!

New Patio Furniture

Well new to us.  I found this set listed on craigslist about 9 minutes after it was listed.  We contacted the seller and within 3 hours had returned home and were so excited.

There was a few rust spots but J grinded them out and we have it a coat of paint.  (Thank God we bought the spray paint can attachment!!!!)

Another Thursday

Right now isn't the best of times since my neighbor has a friend blaring from a running truck outside of our window.  Ugh!  I just wanted to take a nap because I've been so busy lately.

This weekend I had some home projects but it's supposed to rain so now I don't know what I'm going to get to finish

• Re-paint flower pots
• Water flowers on porch

Inside...

• Order curtains
• Go through closet
• Donate clothes to church
• Organize closet
• Go through dressers
• Organize cabinet under bedroom tv
• Laundry
• Grocery shopping
• Organize office

So I guess I have a lot to do.  Wow!  Last night I cooked roast, mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, and apple dessert! We invited another couple over to eat. 
I took the advice of Katie from HyperHomemaker and made sure everything was picked up before we went to bed.  This morning it was so nice to wake up and just get ready and leave.  I've been trying to keep our house ready for drop in guests also!  It's so nice!

Sunday Accomplishments

Well at first my day started off badly.  James is sick (feeling better now though), stores didn't have the flowers that I want/need for the front, I couldn't decide what to do with our new rocking chairs, and the weather wasn't look so great.

But turns out, I got a lot done today and it's only 330pm!

• Groceries
• Watering all flowers (very good, multiple times in the day....they needed it)
• Hosing off front sidewalk (it hand dirt/mud caked on it)
• Cleaning patio
• Washing outside of car
• Cleaning EVERY part of inside of car
• Cleaning trunk
• Washed sheets
• 2 loads of laundry
• Dishes
• Dusted
• Read some
• Hang office curtains
• Trash out (early!)
• Paint rocking chairs
• Make meal plan for week
• Homework

So I've gotten a lot done but still have time to do some more!  I'm pretty excited about having everything done before the week even starts!  Yay! 

Now maybe one night I can have a girls night with a few friends!

Flowers Being Planted

So since our front door is red and the house is blue I thought I would get flowers that would sort of match.  This is what I've picked out.

Red tulips and Gerber daisies

White Gerber daisies and white daffodils

And in the pots by our front door (one on each side)...white hydrangeas

I'm also going to do 2 hanging baskets but I think I might just stick with ferns for those.
I'm going to stain/waterproof my new Oak Rocking Chairs today and put those outside also.
